Vishwa actively espouses the principle of tithe - a fixed portion (usually 10%) of one's income donated to charitable causes in perpetuity. Deepak Chopra in a recent interview revealed that he sets aside such a tithe and so does Neale Donald Walsch, author of the best-selling Conversations with God.
Vishwa has opened himself up to this voluntary contribution to charitable causes. He has expanded upon the traditional meaning of tithe, by pledging to raise his contribution by an additional 1% of his total annual income each year for each extra year of his life enjoyed.
With this commitment of increasing percentage contributions each year, as Vishwa enters old age, the majority slice of his total annual income would be disbursed towards social wellness and charity, as outlined in philanthropy and Vishwas Trust.
